Welcome

I am a postdoctoral research scholar in the department of Sociology at Columbia University, working on a book about institutional disaster risk management in New York City. My research interests sit at the intersection of organizations, cities, the environment, and the sociology of science, knowledge and technology.

Currently I am co-directing a team of researchers constructing a multi-modal archive of New York City’s experience with the Covid-19 pandemic. More information about the project is available here, and you can hear me discuss the project at length in an interview on the Covid Calls podcast, here.

My CV is here. More information about my research, including publication links, is here. Some links to work I have done in public sociology, journalism and criticism are here.
